Work Smarter, Not Harder

First and foremost, Happy New Year to my Travis Transpo family! I’m sure 2020, and even this current month of January 2021, we’ve endured some of the most challenging moments of our lives as a society. Covid-19 has altered life as we know it. What we know as normal is no longer. Covid-19 has infected so many and even claimed the lives of many of those we loved dearly.

As a frontline service provider, I understand the difficulties and concerns during these times. Regardless of Covid-19 we all still have to provide, support, and maintain our family’s basic needs for living. I encourage you all to work smarter by taking the best precautions to protect yourself and the ones you love. The most basic things that we know to make a difference are washing our hands, wearing our masks, and social distancing at the minimum. The hardest part for most of us is quarantining for long periods of time because we are social creatures by nature, and we are meant to be in community with one another. We were never meant to be divided and separated from one another. Division and segregation have never really worked for humanity but that’s another topic for a different day.

I hope to encourage those hard workers who choose not to wear a mask or practice any form of social distancing to rethink things. Covid-19 infections are on the rise as well as the death toll. Unfortunately, most people with careless mindsets don’t care until it hits home. I would say, let’s not even give it the chance to hit home. Let’s play it smart and use every bit of wisdom we’ve been granted with moving forward.
